Στη Σικελία, εκκενώθηκε μέρος του νοσοκομείου Τσερβέλο, στην πόλη του Παλέρμο. Οι φλόγες έχουν φτάσει σε απόσταση λίγων εκατοντάδων μέτρων από τις κλίνες των ασθενών. Στην πρωτεύουσα της Σικελίας φλέγεται και μέρος του νεκροταφείου Σάντα Μαρία Ντελ Τζεζού.
